My name is Aneesa Shariff, and I am a Ph.D. Candidate at UBC in Counselling Psychology. I am conducting a research study on South Asian youths' cultural experiences in Canada. I am sending this email to you as a way of getting the word out for my study as I am hoping to recruit some participants between the ages of 18 and 25 who are of South Asian descent (parents born in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Fiji, Sri Lanka, Burma, Nepal, Kashmir).
I would really appreciate it if you could circulate this email to the other members on your mailing list and anyone else who might be interested in participating, such as family or friends. It consists of a simple survey package which will be completed anonymously and confidentially online and will take no more than 30 minutes. Also, if anyone has any questions about the study, I am more than happy to answer them if they email me. All participants will have a chance to win one of 10 gift cards to the GAP clothing store worth $25 each to compensate them for their time.
