The Art and Science of Turban Tying
Tying a turban or dastaar is a delicate balance of art and science. I've been tying one for over 15 years now and over that time I've become very particular about everything from colour, fabric, lighting, positioning, and lint. Here's a great video from the Sikh Sabha of New Jersey Turban Tying Competition that shows that I'm not the only one like that. If Savraj (the Singh being judged) only scores a 6.5 then I'm in 4s.
