Foji's Pumbeeri
I'm really starting to admire Foji from the UK. His songs and his videos (loved this one) are totally unique. Case in point, check out this one where he gets a flash mob in Birmingham to dance to his song. Fun times.

Gurvinder Brar's Cultural Change
Watch a Punjabi music show for an hour and you're guaranteed to see two major themes - drinking and gratuitous violence. Sikhs and Punjabis have never shied away from the use of force, but only for a greater purpose and only when all peaceful means of resolution have failed. The newly emerging thug culture amongst Punjabi youth seems to have perversely manipulated the martial character of Sikhs. Booze, scantily dressed girls and conspicuous displays of guns may make for a flashy music video but the impact on our collective psyche is corrosive. That's why its nice to see a song like this by Gurvinder Brar that tackles this crisis head on. My apologies for the awful video quality but it was the only one I could find online.
