Singh/Kaur is a spoken word piece brilliantly visualized to the powerful lyrics penned by Harmeet Kaur and Tanmit Singh. The aim is to attack popular stereotypes attached to the Singh and Kaur identities and highlight qualities they each possess that are often overlooked. A Singh is more than a battle-field solider but is also a caregiver, a provider and a family-man. A Kaur is not just a stay-at-home mother and caretaker, but is also a warrior and possesses the same strengths as her male counterpart.
