When you break the laws of a country and come as illegals, exploiting the system, you bring disrepute to other ethnic groups who are unfortunate enough to carry the same name tag "indian". Looks like your punjabi culture has a huge problem knowing right from wrong. Work on it. Do you know about the auction we are doing for khalsa aid? I dont think you do? Just because you do not know, doesnt mean you label us for profit makers. Do you also know we given our canvases to various gurdwaras? No, I dont think you do?
Kanwar, is a fantastic artist with his own vision with his own mentality and as one artist and HUMAN should, we respect eachothers mindthoughts, its a shame ours cannot be done by yourself. Fake is not what we are, but if you do not like what we do, then theres no need for you to follow. Just as this kind blog was made for us as many others have done, just shows the kindness and appreciation we do have from some people. At the end of the day its going to be someones view. So if yours isnt positive about our work, keep at that.
I have NEVER contacted other artists about painting in ORANGE? There have been almost 12 people that have taken the same route, but they are artists, so if that is there vision, so be it. That is a false accusation and its unfair to believe so. We had an issue with a team member who was going about his own way but we solved that issue and let him go. I have never ever disrespected or put anyone down. Art is such a thing where you RESPECT what others produce. Any piece of art takes enough time and effort, and that is what possibly seperates us from you right now if you both are artists. Regardless of what our views are on you, we show ultimate respect to you, unlike the way you have shown to our work.
We are not fraud, we dont claim to be artists, we have a vision and wish to share it with evryone. If it is not accepted by yourselves, that is fine, I cannot force you, but then keep at that, because with the blessing of God, we are reaching a great fanbase and shows us there are ALOT of people who respect and appreciate our work.
If there are off putting stories on us, then please do both of you team up in your own time and spread bad vibes about us. I'm sure the Guru's would appreciate that negativity as they would our 'tracings' right?

Like we mentioned, the great thing about us is we produce different styles of art forms. With so much to come, its not all showcased, and when it is, it would be interesting to see how that is labelled, for its all mind thoughts based on a childrens book being published soon. Keep an open mind, support what you believe in, and if its not our work. This is not the place for you to be.

We will carry on as we are, and thank MAPLE LEAF SINGH for the respect and humble blog on us.

It's a shame we have our own community not being supportive over our work. We cannot force nobody to appreciate our work nor take a liking to it. What is interesting is that your only looking at one of our art forms with the colours and using that as a means of labelling ALL our work as tracings? What about our collage work, or ink work produced for the MA exhibition, and what about the childrens books we got coming out? Have you seen them?Just because our other art forms are not seen its a shame its labelled as being 'traced'... we are more so an art form who take traditional images and put something contemporary into them. We are not to blame for having a good sellout for them, it obviously shows that there is a vast majority of people who takes a liking to them and accept us for what we do. With the feedback from our buyers and clients, they strongly believe its something different, its an artform regardless what you label us. And it is accepted.
Its not about 'splashing some ink' no not at all. To think you believe we produced 5 illustrations in 5 days, keep an open mind. We ACTUALLY completed and had finished those illustrations in JULY ready to showcase for Diwali in October. It's the exact same way, we have completed our christmas video now for Decemeber. Just because you see it for what it is, doesnt give any right to use that as a means of dashing negativity on us. All our in studio work and international commissions takes time just as any artist/creative would. Tracing is not a talent, I agree, but again, we produce so many various fundamentals of illustration in different forms, what about that? Will you also find ways to put a negative note on that?
Its the 'please spread the word' which is a shame. We have a great following and if YOU do not like it, do not follow us, or even think to look at our work. But to the people that do, let them have there own views. We are not fake, we do everything with a humble character and we do all we can to commit to commissions....

As Editor/Publisher of the anthology, Zhindagee:selected stories of our 1st Indian daughters born in Canada 1920-1950(c), it is an honour to let others know that the story of Mr. Gill's family, written by his (Late) sister Perminder K. Gill Dhaddey, is one of pioneer Indian contributions to the establishment of the Indian Sikh entrepreneurs in BC.

You folks should take the Ik-Oan-Kaar off the hoodie - when we put clothing with Gurbani on the floor, in the laundry...or if we put our unclean hands on such clothing, we are disrespecting Gurbani...and Gurbani is Guru...and Guru is Vaheguru...so we are not only disrespecting Gurbani, we are also disrespecting our Satgurus and Vaheguru.

So if you could consider removing Gurbani from the hoodie, that would be awesome.

When I go on vacation to Mexico, Japan, or anywhere else in the world for that matter, and when people ask ask me: "so, what are you?", I don't say Indian. I don't say Punjabi. I don't Say Desi. And I don't say Sikh. I'm Canadian. That's who I am. I'm proud to call myself a Canadian, no matter where I am in the world. Americans consider us a more layed back version of themselves- you know that one friend you have who's always having parties, drinking beer and watching hockey? That's us. Europenas (and especially the Dutch) love us for our contributions in World War 2. And to the rest of the planet, we are the envy of the world. In a era when terrorism and antisemitism has increased all over the western world, Canada is a beacon of hope- an oasis of freedom on this planet that nothing has been able to touch. I wear my countries flag proudly on my backpack, so please, don't try to play on people's emotions. We're no more important than anyone else. We don't deserve special treatment. We should be honored that our politicians attend and enjoy our festivals, and we certainly shouldn't use them as an excuse for them giving us extra privileges. The fact that the number of Sikhs in Parliament went down doesn't bug me one bit. Because in the end, it doesn't matter whether we're Christian or Jew or Sikh. The only thing that matters is that we're proud Canadians who would give anything to defend the values of this country, because that is the most important thing.

Your right about the above statement. I have been seeing his work from day 1, and he even contacts artists who are sketching, painting, drawing etc as they have used the colour ORANGE. He claims that people who use 'his' colours are an infringement of copyright.

He is a fraud, and there are many people who are disgusted with the way he claims he an artist and sells his religious paintings.
